The Republican Women of Warren County Club believes in continuing to encourage good government and the Republican philosophy and to this end, support and involve the youth of today. Our scholarships assist young Republican women and men interested in developing their political skills and furthering their political education. Additionally, this program helps encourage and promote membership in the Republican Women of Warren County Women’s Organization. Four (4) Scholarships have been established. All applicants must meet eligibility requirements in each category that at a minimum involve:
1. Official application form completed in full and submitted by April 1st deadline.
2. An endorsement from a Republican sponsor who can be a RWWC club member, Republican Party official or Legislator. Sponsor contact information to be provided in the application.
3. Official copy of Applicant’s most recent High School/College transcript
4. Copy of the School/College Acceptance letter
5. Providing proof of Warren County residency and either being a registered Republican (if of age) or having a parent or guardian be a registered Republican.
6. One-page essay.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be a registered Republican voter in Warren County If the applicant is under age 18, she/he must show proof that her/his parent or guardian is a registered Warren County Republican voter. The completed application must be submitted by April 1st to be considered for this scholarship.
This Scholarship is in honor and memory of Les Spaeth & Ellen Spaeth for each of their work as leaders of the Warren County Republican Party and the Republican Women of Warren County, that spanned over 5 decades (1960-2015). Their support and promotion of the Republican Party, its ideals and its candidates is unparalleled. It provides a scholarship annually to a graduating senior (male or female) from any Warren County high school who is planning to attend a university or college full time majoring in Political Science, Government, Communications, Economics or IT/Technology.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and be a registered Republican voter in Warren County. If the applicant is under age 18, she/he must show proof that a parent or guardian is a registered Warren County Republican voter. The completed application must be submitted by April 1st to be considered for this scholarship.
This scholarship is in honor of Kathryn L. Drake, who served as the Republican Women of Warren County’s first President in 1957. In addition, Mrs. Drake was an educator for 30+ years, actively involved in the community and known for her leadership skills and commitment to the Republican Party. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating Senior Young Republican (Female or Male), from any Warren County High School who is planning to attend a university or college. Preference is given to those entering Political Science, Government or Economics.

ELIGIBILTY: This scholarship is to help a full or part time graduate student that has been accepted to law school; must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and show proof that they are a registered Warren County Republican. The completed application must be submitted by the April 1st to be considered for this scholarship.
The Rachel Hutzel Graduate School Scholarship was established in memory of Rachel Hutzel, a past President of the Republican Women of Warren County. Rachel was the first woman to serve as Warren County Prosecutor (2002-2012) and the first woman to serve as Judge at the 12th District Court of Appeals (2012) before passing away from cancer.

This scholarship was created in 2023 by Amy Brewer. Amy Brewer is well known for her career as a teacher, her service on the Lebanon city council, as Lebanon's mayor and for her work on countless other civic organizations within the city and in all of Warren county. She is a former president of the Republican Women of Warren County. Amy Brewer continues to be one of the greatest champions of our community. She is the face and heart of Warren county. Amy created this scholarship in honor of and to support young Republicans seeking a career in a vocational, trade or technical field.

THE ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP DINNER
The Republican Women of Warren County hold an Annual Scholarship Dinner in May to recognize our scholarship award recipients. This dinner features a keynote speaker and the presentation of scholarship to recipients.
